For those who watch on TV, you should thank all the Macy's people, coming from up to 100 miles away. Many start at 4am!
Here are the future clowns, awaiting their make-over at the New Yorker Hotel.

Clown makeup requires real experts.

At least 100 makeup artists are there before 7am!

The same confusion occurs after the parade when they remove makeup and costumes.
