Some of the best happy hours we found were bars that had longer, extended happy hours, bars with NYC happy hour specials on food and bars that were ridiculously cheap.
Everybody knows that a good night out on any town starts with a solid pregame. Get your feet and lips wet at the best happy hour NYC and fill your stomach with some grub too! Happy hour specials in NYC are there for you to take advantage of!

Extended Happy Hours
There's nothing worse than enjoying NYC happy hour specials and then finding out that the last Jack & Coke you ordered was 5 minutes after the special is done. Don't be that guy.
- La Linea: La Linea is a cozy East Village lounge that has some serious happy hour hours. Seven days a week you can go to La Linea and drink half off any drink from 3pm until 9pm. Weekend happy hour for the win! Even better, La Linea has a late night happy hour with the same half off deal from 11pm to close on Sunday through Wednesday and from midnight to close on Thursdays.
- Blind Tiger Ale House: In the West Village, Blind Tiger Ale House runs the happy hour game with specials running from noon until 8pm, Monday through Friday. The special itself isn't all that special, $1 off all drafts and well drinks, but you can't hate "You Cut the Cheese" on Wednesday nights. Starting at 6pm, specialty cheeses and bread are brought out for the bar patrons to snack on for free.
Super Cheap Happy Hours
Happy hour is all about getting cheap drinks, so doesn't it make sense to look for bars that have the cheapest happy hours? The best NYC bars for happy hour will be the places where you can use couch change.
- Fiddlesticks: Located in the West Village, Fiddlesticks may have the cheapest and best happy hour NYC has. Until 10pm on Mondays through Fridays, you can get any drink that you want besides martinis and shots for not a cent more than $3! Fiddlesticks is great for quieter NYC happy hour specials.
- Welcome to the Johnsons: This dive bar on the Lower East Side is definitely one of the best NYC bars for happy hour. On Monday through Thursday from 3pm until 9pm and on Friday and Saturday from 1pm until 9pm, Welcome to the Johnsons offers $2 Buds and well drinks. $2 for a beer in New York City is almost like stealing.
