If you're in Williamsburg looking for some place fancy to turn up the romance come dinner time, you're in luck. There are a few New York City restaurants in the area that will charm the pants off of any NYC Tourist. That's the plan after all, isn't it?

  • Peter Luger Steakhouse: High prices and quality meats, that's Peter Luger. The restaurant only accommodates 40 people, so we highly recommend making a reservation if you're planning on a nice steak dinner in these parts tonight.
  • Fette Sau: Despite a very fancy sounding name, this is a BBQ joint, but it's some of the best food you'll find in NYC! Many say it's the best BBQ they've ever had, and these are not just the city-raised New Yorkers reviewing the food either!

Best Williamsburg Restaurants for Breakfast

The best part of waking up in Brooklyn is that you don't necessarily have to shower before you go get your pancakes and bacon, no one else does! Well, we might not go that far, but trust us, you won't be the only one with greasy hair covered up by a beanie and clothes that look almost exactly the same as pajamas in these breakfast restaurants in Williamsburg NYC. It's hard to waste time in the shower when there's food this good calling your name!

  • Egg: They serve French Press coffee, which is a nice touch to any breakfast, and their Eggs Rothko and country ham biscuits are delicious alongside. Hit the ATM up along the way though, because this little breakfast restaurant in NYC is cash only!
  • Jimmy's Diner: This is one of the New York City restaurants that people come to for comfort food in the evenings - "All American" burgers, fried chicken and tator tots, but what diner would be complete without a hearty breakfast menu? They sure know how to fill an NYC Tourist up with large portions at prices we really like, and best of all, breakfast is served all day long!
  • Bakeri: Cookies, pastries, baked goods - everything you'd expect from a bakery (even one who doesn't know how to spell bakery. We assume they knew what they were doing there. They know what they're doing in the kitchen, and that's really all the matters.

Best Williamsburg Restaurants for Happy Hour

If you're in Williamsburg, chances are you're also one of the people who considers happy hour a meal time. The other two are probably brunch and 3am munchies. Either way, these are the best Williamsburg restaurants to visit during happy hour hours.

  • Maison Premiere is a seafood restaurant and wine bar with a weekday happy hour from 4-7pm. Don't let their $1 oysters pass you by, or the Absinthe! If you can't make it for happy hour, no biggie, they're open until 4am!
  • Union Pool: There's a taco truck here that (like New Yorkers in all parts of the city do) people flock to after a few drinks. They also have a photo booth and a fire on the patio. This place, to put it simply, is a hipster's paradise.

  • Fornino Pizza - The Art and Science of Pizza: Oh, art AND science. This place must be good, right? Yes. Despite a cheesy name they sure do deliver. All the pizza tastes homemade, fresh and delicious. What's not to like?
