The largest mass cycling event in the United States takes off from Battery Park in Manhattan and travels through the five boroughs of New York City on 42 miles of traffic-free streets, avenues, highways and bridges

You, your family and friends can all celebrate the joy of cycling with 30,000 riders!

The Great Five Boro Bike Tour is a relatively easy ride through Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island. You have time to enjoy beautiful views of New York appearing over your handlebars.

Celebrate at the Tour-ending Festival at Fort Wadsworth in Gateway National Recreation Area on Staten Island. Dance to live music, enjoy a hearty lunch and explore the exhibitor displays.

This year, along with increased popularity in the tour as well as heightened security, you MUST be registered  to participate in BIKE NEW YORK. Your Tour vest is your "ticket" to receive Tour services at Rest Areas. No rider without a vest will be permitted to cross the Verrazano Bridge.
