 If you didn't already know, we're in the middle of bike month in New York City (... and nation-wide!)  New York City is a big biking city, and the trend is growing, not just because it's May. Biking is obviously great for several reasons, including healthy exercise, saving money and it's a green-friendly form of transportation. Who doesn't want to save lions? The 2012 Run For the Wild, a 5k run through the Bronx Zoo is this Saturday, April 28th.  Participants of all ages in this charity race, in efforts with the Wildlife Conservation Society, will raise money to save lions at the zoo and all over the world.Lions are the main focus of this year's event, though all donations and funds raised will help the entire WCS, helping other wildlife as well.
