Super Bowl Sunday 2012  is just 9 days away - if you haven’t made your NYC Super Bowl XLVI plans yet, well, what are you waiting for?  Devoted, jersey-clad, face-painted NY Giants fans will be flooding City sports bars to watch the Giants ideally beat the Patriots for the Super Bowl Champion title this February 5th.  (There may be some lost Patriots fans in the New York City as well, surely seeking just as many beers, wings, and rowdy high-fives from bar strangers-turned-chums.)

New York Magazine has called Under the Radar “The next big thing” bringing new theater in various forms from around the world, presented in an eleven day festival of multiple performances in different venues around New York City.  The main goal of UTR is to give people a sort of crash course in the world of modern theater from around the globe – to get them excited and involved in the ever-evolving creative scene.

This annual festival goes from January 4 - January 15 and spotlights a range of theatrical artists from emerging new artists to field professionals and sets the stage for all types of performers in all types of genres.  Solo performances, full stage ensembles, experimental, tragedy, song and speech are all in the mix of artistic expression you’ll find in the array of performance styles at Under the Radar.

Where: The Major Leage Dreidel Tournament is the first annual, and will be held at official Spinning Stadium of MLD at Fontanas [105 Eldridge Street] on the Lower East Side.
