Have the Olympics got you feeling a little motivated to get active?

If you're anything like me, eating cheeseburgers and french fries as you watch all the Olympic gymnasts and swimmers and other scantily dressed athletes with perfect bodies, you're probably washing down every bite with a tall glass of guilt (or as most of us like to call it, a delicious beer).

Either way, it can be hard to stomach these stomachs, so we're motivated to start doing something. How about a healthy mix of exercise and sunshine with these great workouts in these beautiful New York City Park!

August is a great month in New York City. The weather is beautiful, the people are happy (for the most part) and the festivities are endless. It's the last month of what many of us consider the summer season, before Labor Day arrives and school starts to get harder, not to mention travel time gets much rarer, the days get shorter and the weather starts to cool down. It's time to take advantage of the warm days in NYC and all of the festivals, celebrations and events in the Big Apple before we have to break out our pea coats and snow boots.

Summer is the perfect time to try out all of the best craft beers in New York City. After a long, hot day of touring and exploring, why not sit down with a cold one and a few friends? Sure, it would be nice to sit down with that delicious Budweiser we all know and love, but we can do that and get those anywhere, so live a little and check out some of the best craft beer bars in New York City.

Happy Winesday all you NYC Tourists! Happy Winesday to everyone else too of course. We know that we don't have to confine our wine drinking to Wednesday, but the name is really enticing, so why wouldn't we enjoy a glass or two? Wine is the perfect mid-week drink, not quite as strong as what we're trying to accomplish on Fridays, and not nearly as subtle as the cleansing we did on Monday and Tuesday.

Can you feel the heat? We can. Summer is in full force here in NYC, which you probably know, and that's why you're planning your summer vacation, and there is no better time to break out your camera and start going to town on New York City... literally. Whether it's your first time in the city or you might as well be a local, there are a few things that you need to have checked off your list to really say you've experienced New York.

Just like sugar, honey. Well literally actually, because sugar is the main ingredient in all the best ice cream in NYC. Sugar and happiness, right? That's what it tastes like to us.

The 4th of July may be over now, but Budweiser is still making their American flag cans, and that's all we really need to tell us that it's still summer. Well, that and the blazing heat of course. Brews are a very traditional way to cool down in the summer, but sometimes the way to really hit the spot and beat the heat is with a sweet and sticky treat.

We gave you a list of all the best free summer concerts, but if you're anything like us, listening to good music (or having more than 3 margaritas) makes us want to belt out some tunes of our own. That's why we've decided to make a list of all the best karaoke NYC has to offer!

While the weather this week in New York City looks like we'll be spending lots of time outside, next week doesn't look so promising. When you're planning on visiting the Big Apple, you can't really guarantee the perfect weather every time. But the good news is that you don't have to let a rainy day ruin a trip, because while there are so many sights to see outdoors, there are plenty of things to do in New York City when it's raining.

Not everyone who goes to New York City is 21 and up, and we firmly believe that 21 and under people deserve to have a good time too! It's hard to find places at night that will let in underage people and trust them not to drink, but there are a few NYC venues that will. And if bars aren't your thing anyway, there are plenty of other things to do once the sun goes down and the bouncers come out.

Whether you're cultivating a summer love or planning a night with your life-long sweetheart, the same generic dates just don't do it sometimes, especially when you're in the Empire State. NYC is full of some of the best date options in the world, so leave the dinner and a movie to the amateurs and plan a night that you - and your date - will never forget!
