New restaurants are always popping up in New York City, and while it's still winter and there's hardly a risk of looking bad in a bathing suit any time soon, you might as well get out and try some of the delicious new places that just made their debut!

When you're traveling, one of the best ways to relax after a long day of work, sightseeing or doing absolutely nothing is sipping delicious martinis in a classy bar. But where do you go for this when you don't really know the area and you're exhausted? Yes, as you know, even vacation can be exhausting! The best place to sip a martini might be right under your nose. Nope, we're not talking about the mini bar. Put on that little black dress and let a handsome bartender pour you something tastier than an airplace bottle of vodka in a plastic cup and head downstairs to the hotel bar!

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, so right now is the time when many of us are either starting to plan a Valentine's Day with someone special, trying to get to know someone better so that you can decide if you want to spend this holiday together or break-up before the gift-giving and commitments start or frantically trying to meet someone to spend it with.

Either way, there's no better way to start or spend a Valentine's Day than sipping a few cocktails with someone special, someone not-so-special or with some girlfriends.

It's finally fall! What we've been looking forward to all year long, right? The temperatures are dropping slowly, but not so low that we're layering up heavily like we will be a few weeks from now. But those temperatures are still dropping enough that it gets pretty darn cold at night. What do you do to warm up when the weather gets cool?

Some people like to curl up by the fire.
Others enjoy downing soup and chasing it with a shot of whiskey. Or something along those lines?

Last week, the 2013 Michelin New York Guide was released, revealing some of the best restaurants in New York City! If you're looking for somewhere to eat on your next romantic trip to NYC or you just want to enjoy a night out with some fine dining, these are the best restaurants that you're going to find in New York!

NYC Tourist is all about our Top 10 lists. We gave you the top 10 romantic spots in NYC, the top 10 favorite attractions, even our top 10 entertaining eateries - but where are all the helpful tips for your vacation overall?

When NYC Tourists come to the Big Apple, they expect a few things, and generally, great food is at the top of that list. While some NYC Tourists are traditionalists and stick to the Bagel shops and hot dog stands that they visit every time, we like to encourage new  experiences. There are always new restaurants popping up in NYC, and there are so many that have been here for years as well and we know you haven't tried them all!

New York City isn't the city best known for their Bring Your Own Booze options, but there are still plenty of great BYOB spots in NYC that are worth a try. Eating out, and drinking out, in NYC can get pretty pricey, but you can cut down the costs a bit and still get your buzz on while you eat with these great BYOB restaurants in the Big Apple. Most of the BYOB restaurants in New York are conveniently located near a store that sells alcohol - trust us, there's just about one of those places on every block - so you won't have to go far from the restaurant to find booze to bring with you!

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions it can be quite a challenge to find good restaurants when traveling. The great news is that NYC has tons of delicious eateries that cater to people who are looking for specific foods - or rather, who are looking to avoid specific foods! Whether you stay away from certain types of food on principal or for health reasons, there are NYC restaurants that make it easy for you to eat wonderful food while traveling and not have to stress about finding somewhere good to eat!
