Central Park is definitely kid-friendly!
 From great playgrounds to just playing on the grass, children and Central Park go together like green eggs and ham!

There are many fun sights for children of all ages to stay busy all day.

Alice in Wonderland
 The larger-than-life Alice in Wonderland bronze statue at the top of the boat pond was created for children to climb and crawl all over it.
Boatpond The Conservatory Water, better known as the boat pond, is home to model boat enthusiasts.

Children are fascinated by the remote control miniature craft, some of which are very elaborate.

Since 1872, this Victorian carousel has delighted both children and adults.

Located at 64th Street, time-old favorites are cranked out on the calliope (music box) as you ride upon some of the oldest hand-carved horses in the world.

Zoo entrance America's oldest public zoo has been newly remodeled and features humane habitats for its magnificent menagerie.

A separate children's zoo has recently re-opened and is a wonderful addition to this fun and exciting area in the middle of Manhattan.
