Cleopatra's Needle Walking east from the Delacorte theater, you'll find Cleopatra's Needle.

The Ancient Egyptian obelisk dates from 1600 B.C. and was a gift from Egypt. From here you can see the Metropolitan Museum of Art where you'll find the Temple of Dendur and many more Egyptian treasures.

We've only touched the surface of what you can discover in Central Park!
These are just many of the more popular attractions in Central Park.

Places like the Ramble, the Great Lawn (newly renovated),
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, and the entire northern portion of Central Park including the beautiful Conservatory Gardens at 105th Street are more of a challenge to get to but well worth exploring!
