Fun and Inspirational Experience for Kids - Children's Museum of the Arts

Some people think that New York City is not really a fun place to visit for kids.  However, there are actually many places to go that cater to children.  If you're in NYC with young kids, you should check out the Children's Museum of the Arts.  For kids about 10 years of age and younger, this museum can be really fun and entertaining.

Since it is not a museum in the stereotypical sense, your kids will be able to do some hands on projects that will be both fun and educational.  This museum is not meant to showcase a bunch of other people's works of art.  Rather, it is intended to help urge kids to find their creative sides and become inspired to create art.  The Children's Museum of the Arts is a nice way to spend an afternoon with your children; however, if you don't have any kids, you will probably not get much out of this museum.
