Historic Richmond Town

Established in 1958, Historic Richmond Town is a museum complex and living history village in New York City. Visitors are welcome to explore museum exhibits and see historically furnished interiors. Staff and volunteers provide guided tours and demonstrate the daily activities of early Staten Islanders. Historic Richmond Town offers a visual of the diversity of Staten Island, its neighboring communities, and that of the early American experience.

Historic Richmond Town is a joint project of the Staten Island Historical Society, an independent nonprofit cultural organization, and the City of New York.
