October has arrived, which means it’s time to plan your Halloween in NYC activities! Halloween Festival in Fort Totten Park in Queens. This family-friendly NYC Halloween event will feature goodie-bags, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, games and more kid-friendly fun!
Halloween Harvest at Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum in Old Brooklyn. This kid-friendly Halloween event is a great way to get the whole family into the Halloween spirit and even score free kids costumes at the costume swap! Take a tour of the haunted house as ghost stories are told, enjoy festive snacks and cider, pick your pumpkin from the patch, paint faces, and more!
Pumpkin Sail in Central Park – 5:30pm. Head to Dana Discovery Center in Central Park for Halloween style family fun. Bring your carved jack-o-lantern and come dressed in costume for spine-tingling entertainment and a pumpkin parade at sunset.
Children’s Museum of the Arts Halloween celebration. Bring the family and dress in your most creative costumes to enjoy a Halloween-themed arts and crafts day! Only $10 for member and all ages are welcome to participate in the spook-tacular projects!
Scary Stories from the Past at Lefferts Historic House in Brooklyn. Enter the circle of scary stories where you’ll hear ghost stories of the historic 1800s Flatbush village surrounding the area of the house. Be brave as Tammy Hall tells the frightful tales from 2pm-3pm.
Ghost Stories of Merchant’s House Museum. Before or after you trick-or-treat, enter candlelight at Merchant’s House with Bellov and Dayle Vander Sande for some of truly tantalizing ghost stories at 7pm and 8:30pm.
