Features:  You can expect a fun-filled performance complete with comfortable seating, great acoustics, and a full-course Italian dinner. The typical dinner will include a main course of spaghetti marinara, fettuccine alfredo, or chicken parmigiana, a house salad, and cookies and brownies. It's an experience unlike any other. What could be better than good food and a night full of laughter.

If you go, there are both evening performances and matinee performances. The doors will typically open a half hour before dinner or lunch is served. Dinner begins at 7:00 PM and lunch begins at 1:30 PM. The matinees are typically only available on Saturdays. Patrons can catch the show at the Planet Hollywood Times Square.

Why We Go:  If you want to laugh and have a good time, it's a great show to attend, especially if you're with a group of family or friends. The acting is superb, and the venue is excellent for people who value the theater atmosphere.

If you're new to New York and you've just experienced your first cab or Subway ride, you'll undoubtedly get some of the humor in this off-color comedy. It sheds life on the history of New York and what shapes its citizens today. It's enlightening but in a humorous way. If you're not into historical facts, you will be by the time you leave. You can't help but be amused and retain some of the information about New York in the way it's presented.

One of the biggest perks is the dinner. There is no need to plan dinner ahead of time and try to rush through it to make it to the show. Instead, you can arrive to the venue thirty minutes ahead of time and be ready for the festivities to begin. It's more leisurely way of having a night out on the town, and it will allow you to truly relax.

Inside Knowledge:  The venue is newly designed to be comfortable for the patrons of the play. Most people are satisfied with the venue and do not mind sitting for the duration while enjoying the show.

The show has gained so much recognition and exposure that the show's stars, Kevin James Doyle and Margaret Copeland, were allowed to "ring the closing bell" at NASDAQ in honor of all things New York.

Do's and Don'ts:

Do arrive to the venue on time to avoid interrupting the main event. Secure your tickets in advance to avoid complications.

Do keep in mind that the menu is basic. It's not top-of-the-line cuisine, but it is tasty and will satiate your appetite during the play.
