New Meadowlands Stadium

Located in East Rutherford, NJ, the $1.6 billion New Meadowlands Stadium is the most expensive sports stadium ever built. To accommodate the two home teams that share the stadium (the New York Jets and the New York Giants), this state-of-the-art facility features interchangeable field decorations and interior lighting that changes colors depending on which team is playing. It is the only NFL stadium shared by two home teams. With a seating capacity of 82,566, including 10,005 club seats and 218 luxury suites, the New Meadowlands Stadium is the second-largest NFL stadium in the United States, in terms of total seating. Front row, 50-yard-line seats are a mere 46 feet from the sideline.
- Bottles, cans, hard-sided coolers, thermoses, ice chests, weapons, banners, flags of any size, footballs, frisbees, beach balls, laser pointers, strollers, umbrellas, animals, and alcohol are not allowed in New Meadowlands Stadium. Jackets, blankets, small bags and purses, food contained in a clear plastic bag, and factory-sealed, plastic water bottles are permitted. All bags and vehicles will be subject to inspection.
- New Meadowlands Stadium does not allow guests to leave and then re-enter the facility.
