	What: To kick off World Water Week, UNICEF will host the NYC Tap Project Water Walk, a one-mile walk for young people (all ages) and their families, schools and communities to help raise awareness and support for children worldwide who suffer from a lack of readily available clean water. Participants will carry up to one gallon of water in a gesture of solidarity with those who must collect and carry water on a daily basis. When: Sunday, March 22, 2009 (World Water Day) at 10:00 am. Registration and sign-in begins at 9 am. Rain or Shine! Where: The walk will begin and end at the plaza in front of the Castle National Monument in Battery Park.
