NJ Nets Moving to Brooklyn

NJ Nets tickets are soon to be outdated, but fear not, fan, because the team will just be moving to New York, as the second New York NBA team, the Brooklyn Nets.  In September 2011, partial owner of the NJ Nets and rap mogul, Jay-Z hosted a press conference to announce after many potential deals had been made, the team has settled on moving to New York as the Brooklyn Nets, after the 2011-2012 season is complete.

NJ Nets currently play at the Prudential in Newark, New Jersey but post-move, their new home base will be Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY.  Get your NJ Nets tickets now for a chance to see the team pursue the playoffs for one last time as the New Jersey Nets!

About NJ Nets Games at the Prudential Center

Your NJ Nets tickets will gain you admission to the Pru Center for game time!  The Center itself holds 20,000 spectators, and is located on the corner of Mulberry Street and Edison Place in Newark, NJ.

  • Parking:  If you prefer to drive over public transit, there are paid parking lots, which charge around $20.

NJ Nets in the Spotlight

The 2011-2012 NJ Nets team has gotten some media press in the pop culture public eye due to one player, Chris Humphries dating, marrying, and quickly divorcing world-famous it girl Kim Kardashian.   Kris Humphries is number 43, has been playing for 7 years and plays as a forward.   He has certainly been in the spotlight, bringing attention to the NJ Nets as well.

Even more reason for the NJ Nets to make the list of stories in pop-culture news may be due to partial owner Jay-Z.  This famous rapper may only own 1% of the team, but he certainly is present in decision-making and has been known to host press releases to speak on behalf of his team.

Another owner, the main owner, Mikhail Prokhorov also recently announced he’s running for Russian presidency in the next election.  He may be a new-comer to Russian politics but he has definitely proven his leadership ability in the world of basketball.  Hopefully for Nets fans, he’ll continue to stay focused on the game! Your next NJ Nets tickets could be of double-value to see a great game and catch a glimpse of the next Russian President!
