Inside Knowledge: One If By Land Two If By Sea used to be the former carriage house for the infamous Aaron Burr. Aaron Burr was a Continental Army Officer in the Revolutionary War, third Vice President of the United States under President Thomas Jefferson, and an advocate for the end of slavery and equal rights for women. Burr is most notoriously known for killing Alexander Hamilton in the legendary 1804 duel.
