We celebrated New Years here and it was a great time! We never experienced the Times Square madness and just wanted to see what it was all about. It was only a five minute walk there, so that was definitely the best part.
The hotel itself was perfect. Clean rooms, cool maids. No complaints with the service.
Also one of the other guests told us about a 'Privilege Card' option which allows for a later check out. We didn't get one, but it may be something to look into.
