Obtaining one of the largest fleets of
historic ships, the South Street Seaport invites you to come aboard many of the magnificent crafts.

The 1908 lightship Ambrose is a National Historic Landmark. You can walk around the piers for free but tours of the ships require an admission fee which is good for the entire museum.

The 4-masted, 347-foot cargo vessel Peking sailed the world from 1911. She now sits proudly as the fleet's most prominent ship.

You can't miss the pier next to the ships, Pier 17 is filled with shops and restaurants of all sorts.

It's very much like a mall.
