Alright, I'm as excited as anyone that the Nets are moving to Brooklyn. Irrationally excited, actually, since I don't live in New York and I'm not remotely a Nets fan. However, Brooklyn is awesome, the new uniforms are cool and, well, that's it really. Oh, and also...
...I mean, do you realize where the IZOD Center is? It's in the Meadowlands. And have you BEEN to the Meadowlands? It's a parking lot. Built over a swamp. So... yeah.
It's hard to say what the IZOD Center has going for it now that the Nets are gone. And did I mention the Devils are gone, too?
OK, aside from the occasional concert, I'm not sure you'll find much to do at the IZOD Center. Just know that, when I went there, it was a pretty good place to catch a game.
(That being said, when I came here Stephon Marbury was still good and Jason Kidd was on the team. So, this was a while ago to say the least.)
Not the worst arena I've been to, but, I'm not sure there any reason left to go to the IZOD Center.
