JFK or John F. Kennedy International Airport is located in the heart of Queens only 15 miles away from Midtown Manhattan. JFK is the international gateway to the U.S. for commercial flights and freight shipments. It is the largest of New York's three major airports. The others are LaGuardia Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport.

In front of all nine terminals, taxi service is offered. For information and reservations for buses, shared-ride vans and limousines, go to the ground transportation Information counters, located on the lower baggage claim level of all the terminals. Signs showing directions to the parking facilities are color coded to point out their location. Car Rental companies are available at the airport with courtesy shuttles at AirTrain Station C - Federal Circle.
