Thanksgiving is almost upon us and whether you’re a local New Yorker, or travelling to NYC for Thanksgiving, there’s no reason for you to miss the most famous holiday parade in the country – the Macys’ Thanksgiving Day Parade!  This 85+ year tradition will continue this November 26th at 9am

The festivities will kick-off at Central Park West and 77th Street, following a scheduled route through Central Park South, onto 42nd Street, and finally ending at the iconic Macy’s Herald Square on 34th Street at 7th Ave.

Chances are, if you’ve ever celebrated Thanksgiving, you’ve at least seen this famous annual event in NYC on television, but if you have the chance to experience it live, we completely recommend it.  From Broadway stars to your favorite childhood characters, enormous balloons and a strong dose of holiday cheer, the Macys’ Thanksgiving Day Parade is wildly popular for a reason.  NYC Tourists who want to be part of the parade this year should be sure to book a hotel room along the parade route, so you’ll be guaranteed easy access to the action.

If you’re unfamiliar with the route, check out these Midtown West hotels on the route of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and have a happy and safe holiday!
