NYC - New York Taxis: See the newest advancement in New York City taxicab service, the backseat GPS screen for passengers. In order to better serve residents and visitors of New York City alike, the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission instructed that all New York City Taxis have GPS screens installed for passenger use. Along with the GPS screen viewable in the backseat, taxi passengers now have the option to pay with major debit/credit cards. With the GPS, riders can see the route being taken and where in New York they are.
