Summary
Features: Ai Fiori NYC Italian restaurant is a new restaurant from famous Chef Michael White. While he is the owner, Chef Chris Jeackle who cooked under the eyes of Morimoto is the head chef to this new Midtown Manhattan Italian restaurant. Ai Fiori NYC Italian restaurant is located on the second floor of the Setai Hotel along 5th Avenue.
Why We Dine: Ai Fiori NYC Italian restaurant not only blows away its guests with presentation and service, but the food is also among some of the best from new restaurants in New York.
- Reputation: Michelin star-winning Chef Michael White has a reputation for opening incredible restaurants in New York. He has done plenty of work in the Big Apple this past decade, and he brings his culinary expertise to Ai Fiori NYC Italian restaurant.
- Classy: The dining experience at Ai Fiori NYC Italian restaurant can be described in one word - classy. From the dish presentations to the atmosphere and the hotel that it is located in, Michael White's new Italian restaurant has a reputation for being a cut above many others in terms of appearance.
Inside Knowledge: Ai Fiori had to open its doors in late November of 2010 without a liquor license, which was a little awkward given that it had a lot of wine pairings set to go with its food. However, reviews were still grand because the food was spectacular.
We Recommend:
- Salmone: We here at NYCtourist can appreciate a good fish. The salmon entree served at Ai Fiori is a wild king salmon, with all the right things mixed with it to make this fish a delicious delight.
- Pansotti: A flavorful procini ravioli that comes with juicy seafood and some basil oil. It's a great way to start off a multi-course meal.
