I had never even heard of Bookmarc until I was looking at it from across the street. Marc Jacobs recently opened this awesome book store that sells a lot more than books. You can buy stylish stationary, jewelry, notebooks, etc. all in the fashion of Mr. Jacobs. It’s not so much about the brand name as it is just really cool stuff, and it’s not outrageously priced.
Bookmarc fits very well into its Bleeker Street West Village setting. I was limited on time during my visit to Bookmarc but I easily could have spent an hour in here looking around. I would love to go back.
