The Noble Maritime Collection is dedicated to preserving the art, writings, and historic artifacts of the famous marine artist John A. Noble. Noble's legacy includes celebrating the population and traditions of the New YOrk Harbor waterfront and the Sailor's Snug Harbor. The Noble Maritime Collection is a maritime study center inspired by John A. Noble and the mariners of Salilor's Snug Harbor.

The Noble Maritime Collection includes:

  • Art exhibits
  • Noble's houseboat studio, made from "the small bones of larger vessels"
  • Ship miniature models
  • Rare and important maritime collections
  • Educational programs for students
  • Teacher training programs
  • Discussions about Sailors' Snug Harbor
