- Location: You can't beat the location of a hotel when it's in midtown Manhattan. Courtyard Marriott Manhattan provides spacious rooms by New York standards in a location that is not only close to popular New York landmarks like Fifth Avenue and The Empire State Building, but also the Grand Central Station for easy access to the rest of New York City.

Decent for a 3 Star NYC Hotel
Courtyard Marriott near 5th Ave is no luxury hotel, but it is in a great location for shopping and tourist attractions. The simple lobby has a brown leather couch with matching chairs and accommodations include a coffee maker, on television, and a newspaper stand in the lobby - Simple, but nice to have.
I will say, unlike some of the other cheap and simple hotels in NYC, this one does have two elevators and an on-site lounge – Salmon River Restaurant & Bar. The lobby is 2 stories and includes a business center upstairs. Although it’s not fancy or very modern, this hotel does offer a lot more for guests than others in its caliber and the rooms are clean and pretty spacious.
For a reasonably priced 3 star hotel in Manhattan, Courtyard Marriott 5th Ave isn’t bad at all, just don't expect many bells and whistles.
