NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival Summary
Event Overview: On the last weekend in October, right before Halloween, Carnival Nightclub converts its 16,000-square-foot mega-plex into a haunted house for its annual NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival. From 10pm to 12am, there's loud music, dancing, and an open bar.
What to Expect: NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival is like nothing you've ever seen. Here you'll find evil clowns, stilt-walkers, and cocktail waitresses in dunk tanks, just to name a few of the attractions. The dance floor itself is housed in a clown's mouth. Contest prizes are not for the prudish.
- Exotic Drinks: Like most popular clubs in New York, Carnival features its own signature NY cocktails. For the 2010 NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival, the club offered a drink called the Drunk Tank, which featured two gallons of Absolut Vodka, Malibu Rum, Beefeater Gin, and fruit juice. Not surprisingly, it was a huge success.
- Awesome Halloween Costumes: Those interested in attending the NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival would do well to remember that it is, of course, a haunted house. Expect spooky clowns, fiendish ghouls, and cool Halloween costumes. In 2010, the NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival featured music by DJ Peter Parker.
Inside Knowledge: Truly there is no other Halloween party in New York like the NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival. For one night only, from 10pm to 4am, the 16,000-square-foot Carnival mega-plex is converted to a haunted house, where costumed revelers drink two-gallon cocktails and dance to the hottest tunes.
Event Hints:
- Wear Fashionable Attire: The NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival is a Halloween party. Wear a costume. A good one, too. Unless you have an unconventional way of celebrating Presidents' Day, this is the only opportunity you'll have all year to don that spiffy Ghostbusters uniform you keep in your closet.
- Drink Responsibly: While at least half the fun of the NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival is drinking, be sure to drink responsibly. Know your limit. Stay hydrated. And don't drink and drive (if you plan on enjoying a two-gallon Drunk Tank, be sure to take a cab home).
- Buy Your Tickets in Advance: Because of the popularity of this NYC event, tickets sell out fast. We recommend buying your tickets to the NYC Haunted Halloween Carnival well in advance - as soon as they go on sale, if possible.

Haunted Halloween Party
Very nice venue. Great Atmosphere. My complaints lie solely with the party promoter and planner. They had promised everyone an open bar with the tickets and clearly printed on each ticket for the Halloween party it said "Open Bar". There was NO open bar, there was NO compensation for the promise and the only excuse given was that "it was a misprint". This crap because it was stated multiple times on the even page that there would be an open bar. It was not worth the $40 admission, the promoter had not properly even informed the venue that he had promised an open bar. There was a couple hundred people who blocked the stairwell in anger and there was almost a riot because of this. All guests were treated poorly. Even in the VIP section where people had paid over a $100 dollars for admission they too didnt get any open bar. Do not waste your money
