Hudson New York, A Morgans Original

Hudson New York, A Morgans Original
Features: For chic hotel accommodations unparalleled in Manhattan, look no further than the Hudson, A Morgans Original in Midtown. This posh downtown hotel brings the party to you, and features the trendy Hudson Bar NYC, a rooftop lounge, a private outdoor park, and the cafeteria-style Hudson Hall NY Restaurant. The Hudson New York also offers guests cozy, romantic rooms modeled after ship cabins that are perfect for couples.
Why We Stay: The Hudson New York is a trendsetting NY hotel, and one of the few hotels in Manhattan where you can actually spend more time in your hotel than out of it. However, should you decide to venture outside of the Hudson - and we recommend you do - you'll find yourself just one block from Central Park and three blocks from Carnegie Hall and Broadway.
- Trendy Decor: The Hudson Bar NY features a futuristic decor and a wide-open dance floor to accommodate guests at the Hudson New York. Also, the Hudson Library NY is slightly more than your typical "library," offering guests a place to hang out and shoot pool over drinks at the Hudson NYC.
- Party Vibe: If you're visiting NYC on business, we recommened you steer clear of the Hudson New York. However, if it's a Manhattan party you're looking for, than you'll find one - or several - happening at the Hudson Hotel NY.
Inside Knowledge: The Hudson New York, A Morgans Original was co-designed by a pair of prominent designers. The Ivy-coated lobby was crafted by Studio 54 creator Ian Schrager, and the rest of the Hudson was designed by the famous Philippe Starck.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do Visit the Hudson Bar: This velvelt-rope nightclub at the Hudson New York can get to capacity quickly on the weekends, so get there early if you hope to avoid the rush.
- Do Prepare for the Showers: The unique showers at the Hudson face out towards the bedroom, giving whoever is in the room with you a show they might not be prepared for. However, you need not worry, as the Hudson NYC showers do come with curtains.
- Don't Shush Library Patrons: The library at the Hudson New York isn't your traditional reading nook, and friendly chats are perfectly tolerated.
- Don't Miss the Rooftop Lounge: Enjoy a scenic NY view on the Rooftop Lounge at the Hudson NYC.
