Valentine's Day has just passed and it's time to celebrate Fat Tuesday! You don't have to go down to the Big Easy for Mardi Gras, because there are parties that get just as wild in the Big Apple. Before you must begin to right your ways on Ash Wednesday, get a little laissez faire on Fat Tuesday at these popular NYC Mardi Gras Bars.

Bourbon Street? Where better to celebrate than at this NOLA-themed bar and grille? They've got a full, Southern-style menu to really bring out the flavors this holiday, and you're sure to find a wild party there all night long! On Tuesday, February 12th, they're hosting a Fat Tuesday Celebration dinner and Dave Clive's N'awlins Funk Band.

The Sapphire NYC is hosting a Mardi Gras Masquerade costume contest! This is the night where you can "Show us your beads, we'll show you ours." Entry is $20 and doors open at 6pm (happy hour goes until 8pm!)

Webster Hall is hosting a BeSomeOneNYC Mardi Gras Masquerade Party featuring Taylored, Anna Harrington and Cassandra Kubinski.

Jalopy in Brooklyn is having a Mardi Gras from the Bayou to Bourbon Street party with the Catahoulas Cajun Band rocking the house starting at 8pm. ZydeGroove is taking over on stage at 9:30 and the HooDoo Loungers finish up the night starting at 11pm. Admission is $12, and you can buy tickets in advance online.

Lindy Promotions is putting on the 18th Annual 2nd Avenue Mardi Gras Stroll on Saturday, February 9th. From 1-9pm, go from bar to bar for $2 beers, $4 rum hurricanes, food and shot specials. Don't go home without your fair share of beads!

Bourbon Street meets Stone Street this Mardi Gras at Ulysses Folk House. Featuring music by Dirty Water Dogs, Cajun food, Hurricane specials and drinking games. 

Delta Grill is hosting a Mardi Gras party, and for the $25 admission you get a free Hurricane, all you can eat cajun buffet (complete with a crawfish boil, jambalaya and chicken creole) and live music by Citigrass starting at 5pm.
